December

December came and went so fast! I am always sad when its over and its January which means back to work or school, no more holiday cheer and cold, dark days. I used to always claim January as my least favorite month of the year.... think about it, it will probably be yours as well. Last year I decided I can't have January as my least favorite month because thats when I got married and so far it has been a good month, so I may have to give January another chance.
I love the holiday parties, families and friends during the holidays. It was fun to be with Clints family on Christmas morning... although I did miss sleeping over at my moms and helping her be Santa or watching her be Santa. It was also my first year that I didn't have a stocking... but I am definitly not one to complain becaue I got spoiled. Last year Clint's sisters made jokes about this being thier last year getting spoiled by Clint with presents because now he will have a wife. And this year I really did feel spoiled. He totally out did me. I know Christmas is not all about gifts but how can you not be excited when your husband surprises you with this

I have wanted a piano for a really long time. I used to look on KSL and Craigslist but never let my frugile self buy one. The funny thing is that I don't really play.... but I have always wanted to. I did take lessons for a year, but because it didn't sound good my older brother never let me practice. So yea! I am excited to finally play more than chruch hymns and my one time recital song "The Man From Snowy River."

Clint also surprised me with a comfy glider rocker. That is the one thing I really wanted and he had convinced me that he didn't get one. I can't wait to hold my little baby in it.

My family has had a lot of change throughout my life and so we haven't been able to keep a lot of holiday traditions, but we do have one. Every year around Christmas we go ice skating. I can't remember the last time we didn't go. I love it. You can see pictures here. My little 2 1/2 neice surprised us all and could iceskate by herself. She could even spin in a circle. It sounds unbelieveable but she was so good. I know I will be watching her dominate in sports when she is older. I am excited about that.

You should check your calender again, I know for a fact that January is the best month of them all. Because it is when I get to celebrate my wonderful husbands birthday.
