Our basement

I realized this week that I never posted pictures of our finished basement. That is because we still have a few small things to finish, but our renters have been in there since September. However, they have decided to join the army (crazy) and they leave in March. Which means we need to find new renters. So I decided to post pictures so that if anyone knows a good couple (no kids (maybe 1), no pets, no drugs, no acholol....preferably a good LDS couple) that is looking for a place you can show them these pictures.
This is thier front doors. Its ground level and both doors open, it makes it easy to get furniture in. That is a coat closet as well.
This is the view you get when you walk in the front doors. The big windows make it really light. I took these pictures at noon and had no lights on and no flash.
This is what you see if you turn to your right. The hallway leads to the Bathroom, Laundry room, and Mast bedroom. The door behind Tyson is a storage underneath the stairs (our renters use it as thier food storage) and there is a second bedroom that Tyson is facing. Close up of the kitchen The living room. We still need to stain the fireplace. Its a gas fireplaceThis is the view facing from the living room. The windows are both above ground level. There are a couple places on the wall that need to be painted and the beam on the ceiling needs to be stained. All repairs would be done before new people move in. Inside the second bedroom.Hallway that leads to the master bedroom. BathroomWith jetted tubMaster bedroomWith two big closets And this is the laundry room. It will eventually have a sink and shelves, but that might be awhile before that happens.
We gave our current renters a great price becuase we knew we would still need to be working a some projects, but everthing will be done for the next renters. We posted it on KSL for $900 and have got a lot of calls and we have apts for people to come see it (first apt was a young couple wanting to try out living togther before the got married), but I would take a lower price for good renters. Let me know if you know of anybody.
Here is a couple pictures of what it looked like when we started. I still can't believe its almost complete. I have to give the credit to my hardworking husband for getting this and our yard done (except small projects) all within the first 4 months of living here. He is amazing!! And I have now become a good painter and I won't say good but I have a lot of experice making meals for hungry workers. They are the easiet to cook for, they are so hungry it doesn't have to be great.
