My baby is 1!!

Yea!!!! Its my birthday!!
2//27
Doesn't he look so big in his church outfit? I can't believe my sweet little baby is turning into a boy. I will still claim him as my baby for a little bit longer, but he is growing up so fast!! Its amazing how much he is learning and understanding.

With the help of my ever so talented sister I made Tyson a birthday shirt (well, I made two, one to wear on his birthday and one for his birthday party) I put Tyson in the chair below, but he loves to climb up  and sit and rock himself.
His first bite of sugar.....a train cake! Surprisingly, he didn't love it....but he did find a smartie on the doctors office waiting room floor and devoured it.
I was so excited about this cake. My mom used to make us a special theme cake for each of our birthdays and I loved it, so I want to do the same.

He got spoiled for his birthday.... I guess you only have your first bithday once.  We had both our families over for the party. It was so fun.
Who knows, we may have a little Beethoven in our home.
Hopefully a little basketball player too.
This is what inspired the train cake. He loves his Cho cho train.
Lets go for a ride! This is his two year old distant cousin... so cute I laughed so hard when I saw this.
'
We are so happy that Tyson is part of our family. We love his smiling personality and tender heart. As of late he likes to ride the rocking horse, dance to music, try to draw, play the piano, give hugs, close doors (this has been an obsession for awhile) get into drawers and pull everything out and most of all, walk around with a piece of clothing on top of his head. (I am going to have to get a taller laundry basket because it seems his favorite clothing is long white underwear. :)

At his doctors apt it seems that he is still a little guy compared to other babies...I think he looks perfect.  3% in weight! Tyson is not a light eater, he will eat anything you put in front of him and will just shovel it in without looking. The doctor didn't believe me when I told him he eats a lot. He said to put butter on his vegetable and feed him peanut butter and other fatty foods. So on the way home I bought beef ravioli in a can (something I would never had fed him before) and he loved it... and ate 3/4 of the can. He is drinking cow milk now too!! Yea! He didn't like it at first but by his belching in sunday school I take it he loves to chug it down.

We love you Tyson!!

Tyson is super cute. Loved the tie and the train cake looked amazing. Super fun, wish we could have been there. But it sounds like you had plenty of family there to celebrate with. Looking forward to your visit soon!!!! And I want to hear all the detail about Wicked.

Cute Cute pictures!!! I love him in his Sunday outfit. Nice job on the t-shirt you made. Super cute. And the cake is awesome too, you are a great mom. It's crazy to think he is one already. Where did that last year go?

It was great seeing you for a bit while I was out to visit. Thanks again for the darling Sunday dress and the figurine. Todd was very happy with your presents too. We can't wait to set up her nursery and to put her in all her cute outfits.
