29 happenings from April (the month) :)

1. Tyson got his first real hair cut. He was starting to get the baby mullet but we were still so hesitant. In fact, it may not have happened if Clint hadn't taken him the bathroom without me and cut it himself. However, I love it!
2. Tyson bleed for the first time. :( Of course besides from a shot. He was pushing a train and slipped and hit his mouth. Ouch... poor guy didn't know what to do. He let me hold him and put tissue to stop the bleeding.
3. Tyson had his first fever.  It happened to be on the weekend we were babysitting two of my nieces and one nephew. So Tyson and I laid on the couch while Clint took the rest to church. What a good husband!
4. He might be barely heavy enough, but he is definitly too long to still be facing backwards in his car seat. So... Tyson now faces forward in the car. I love and hate it.
5. We love the show Chuck. Thank you hulu for letting us watch from season 1.
6. Record breaking babysitting month, and only two kids wet the bed..... I thought that was a lot, but apparently you get used to pee the more kids you have.
7. Having kids to play with the neighbors kids creates great bonding. It is so fun to watch Tyson play with the neighbors.  Even though there are some years in between kids love company.
8. Made my first two blankets and a cute little onsie for a friend whose having a baby.

9. Heard my 6 year old niece exclaim to our neighbor, who is also 6, that her Aunt April WON the Boston Marathon. Did I correct her? Nope.
10. Watched as a brave 8 year old at the park stood up and lead his friends away from a group of mean, foul mouthed other 8 and 9 year olds. Quote: "Come on guys, we don't need to be around that. Lets go do something else." I wanted to go up and give him a big hug and tell him good job!
11. Conference. Wasn't it wonderful. Just what I needed to refocus and rededicate myself.
12. Easter egg hunts were ruined by the rain, but of course my mom pulled through and hosted an amazing one insider her house.
13. This is Clint's off season with work so Tyson and I have been so lucky to have him home with almost every day!
14. Clint has been so productive while he has been home. He even painted the garage, planted another tree and stained a kitchen table and chairs that will go in my town house.
15. We mowed our lawn for the first time EVER. It looks so good, but dang it, that fertilizer is expensive.
16. My little sister blessed her baby and family came into town. Really wish my brother and his family would just move closer. Got to spend some fun time with my cousins I never see... Jennifer  and Joe, please stay with us again!

17. Same little sister announced that her and her husband and cute little baby are getting sealed in the Temple at the end of May. Yea! So excited for them. Love you guys!
18. Tyson loves to do whatever I am doing. Brushing my teeth, brushing my hair, and most recently sweeping the floor. He will follow me around the house all day.

19. Our ward split and we now have one o'clock church (bummer). But it does mean that Clint is released and he no longer has Wednesday night meetings. (Is that selfish of me to be happy about that?)
20. Tyson is addicted to being outside. He will stand at the door and hit it and talk/yell until I let him out or of course entertain him some other way.
21. Have I mentioned how adorable and loveable Tyson's personality is becoming. He is such a tease. He loves to play and laugh. Clint has taught him how to flex his muscle, its adorable.
22. Tyson talks and talks and talks, its adorable. I just wish I could understand what he was saying. Although he is understanding what I am saying more and more each day. He will even give me his binky if I ask for it (sometimes.... once in a while he will run the other way as fast as he can but at least he knows what I am saying).
23. Tyson recently started holding both mine and Clint's hand when we are walking. I love his tight little fingers wrapped around my hand.
24. My 11 year old sister will beat me 80% of the time in a bean bad toss.
25. Got some great kids toys at some garage sales.... can't wait to find more treasures!
26. Jazz basketball... do you get your hopes up? Regardless we watch them anyway.
27. We got a king size bed!!! Loooove it!
28. Started to play basketball again after a 5 year lapse and I am totally loving it.
29. Why did I choose 29 things... because it was the month of April and I turned the big 29. Happy birthday to me. Of course my husband spoiled me again. His love language is defnitly gifts... I am not complaining. :)

Cute post Apes. I bet that took a long time to do. I loved the idea of 29 things since you turned 29 this year. It's nuts to think we are getting older this quickly. You look wonderful and Tyson is adorable as always.
