And he was Surprised!!

On the first Saturday in June I threw a surprise birthday party for Clint and he was COMPLETELY surprised.Yea!!! It was awesome! Usually I can't hide secrets from him and he can always tell right when I am trying too. But not this time! He knew that I had wanted to do a party for him on Saturday, but Tyson got the flu and was sick all week so he didn't think I had planned anything. He has been putting in our fence this week so by Saturday afternoon he was tired, but I had his parents invite us to thier house to play volleyball with some of thier friends. So when we were getting ready to go, just to make sure he didn't suspect anything (since I left twice in the day to go set up) I told him I was just going to stay home and put Tyson to sleep. He, like he always does when I want to stay home, convinced me I should come. Money!! I knew then he had no idea about his party.

When we pulled up to their house he saw the balloons in the backyard and he looked at me, I couldn't hold my smile in any longer. Ha ha, it was so fun. He was really surprised and happy.

It was a lot of fun. We had a fire to roast hot dogs, other good food and some good games of volleyball. His parents have the perfect backyard for a party and they were such a great help to pull off this surprise. Thanks everyone for coming!! Here are some pictures.

And here is one of my precious baby when he was sick. Of course there is a ball in his hand and this week he really liked his teddy bear. I am sooooo glad he is better. I think the saddest thing I have ever watched is him throwing up. Poor little guy. I love him so much!
