4th of July

I love when the 4th of July falls on a weekend, it makes the festivities last a little longer. BBQ's, fireworks, swimming, parades and family = a whole lot of fun! The only downer of the weekend was the three hour game of Risk I got suckered into player. That is definitely a boy game that should not be played when its sunny outside.

Clint's parents invited my family over for a BBQ, volleyball and water games on Saturday.

Tyson couldn't get enough of their rocking horse that Clint's dad made when Clint was a baby.

Ben gets the award for best tricks on the water slide

and Leah gets the award for most times down the slide and the best splashes. If she was the only one that used it, it would have been worth renting the slide. She went down the whole day and got going faster and faster each time.

Tyson went down three times.... like it or hate it??? Hate it. Maybe next year he will like it more.

At the parade. Thanks to Blaine and Ben sleeping over we got a killer spot.
Can you tell how much Clint likes parades? But the kids sure like him there.

My pathetic attempt of getting a group picture.

Holidays always bring old friends in town. So fun to see two of my old roomies. I don't think I ever realized how much shorter I was then them. No wonder they used to pick on me.

When I was pregnant with Tyson I was so good at taking progress pictures, but this time this is the only one I have taken. This is the morning I went to my ultra sound. I am almost 21 weeks. You would think I would dress up cute for pictures, maybe next picture. And maybe next time my head won't be cut off. :)

I seriously love our new joint family tradition. The knapps always make us feel so welcome.
