We took our first family trip to Disneyland. It was better than
expected. Lydia was amazingly good (thank goodness!) and Tyson loved
loved everything about it. He loved all the characters, the rides, the
cousins and the warm weather.
I think its so cute how he hid behind the pole. I have never seen him like this before. He LOVES Woody. His first star struck experience.
We brought a little football and Tyson loved to hold onto it tight (probably fear of cousins playing with it....."My ootball!")
We got a hotel within walking distance thinking that we would go there for naps. But all except one day, we couldn't pull ourselves away from the fun. Tyson and his cousin who is just two months older.
Sharing secrets with Pluto. I wish I knew what he was saying to him.
Cute kiddos!
Look how excited Tyson is behind Mickey. Until a couple days before this trip he didn't even know Mickey existed.
Tarzans rope
Pretty close to what our lunch and dinner looked like most days.
I was sound asleep in the bed next to this. When I first found out that Disneyland didn't open until 10 am, I couldn't believe it was so late. But when I found out I was the one who was going to get to sleep in I loved the late entrance.
Duffy the bear?? Haven't heard of him, but Tyson loves him some teddy bears.
He also loves Mr. Incredible. Little Ethan is a picture taking pro.
An Acapella Quartet that was really good.
Toon Town. Our last night and probably our favorite. This place was perfect for Tyson.
Classic Mickey pose.
Goofy's house. He jammed on that piano for a good twenty minutes.. with of course some dancing in between.
Last day we spent at the beach.
We went to muscle beach where we watched Clint climb the rope. He had a big black guy there rooting (or yelling) him on. If he wasn't there, I am not sure Clint would have made it.
Oh no, there goes Tyson across the way making a run for it.
"Yo hoomie, my trip rocked. Later dudes!"
Going to Disneyland with kids is a whole different experience than without. And a WAY better experience. It was so fun to watch the joy in Tyson and his cousins and they saw the characters, princesses, and went on the rides. February was also an awesome time to go. Great weather and it wasn't too busy. We couldn't have asked for a better trip. Thanks Trina and Raquel for letting us join you to the magical kingdom!

looks like fun, I'm jealous!
What fun pictures!!! Looks like you guys had so much fun. We can't wait to take Tatum when she gets a little older. It will be so much fun. Seeing pictures of the beach made me ache for the summer and being able to get some kind of tan. I am pretty sick of my white legs and body.
Can't wait to see you guys in a month
You are so right! That trip was amazing. I keep looking at the pictures over and over with a big smile. And the best part was meeting that cutie Lydia! Can't wait to see her (and Tyson) again! Also, A big congrats on winning the regional championship in basketball.
I love the picture of Tyson and Pluto! How fun! Disnelyland is such a blast. I knew Mickey was magical, but he is even more magical when you throw kids into the equation!
